My work station

I think this make-up look was successful and I was able to achieve the desired look - the make-up looked natural but yet made Estella look quite flawless, young and like a typical beauty of the era.

Hair
Equipment needed:
  • Paddle Brush
  • Hair grips
  • Pin tail comb
  • A hair band
  • Sectioning clips

I was very satisfied with this hair style because I think it has a very 'pretty' feel to it and is the typical style that would have been worn by a young Victorian beauty, such as Estella. I feel the actual shape of the style was effective, and I was able to hide the majority of the hair grips which was my main concern. If I were to recreate the look, I would potentially try to make the curls in the fringe slightly tighter and neater, but I do not think Estella's hair would have been pristine and perfect because she was still quite young and so would've ruffled it up slightly.

Overall, I was actually very pleased with how my Estella character turned out - the hair was definitely the best I had done it so far, and the I thought the make-up looked quite authentic and fitted the era accordingly. I also managed to complete the look on time and to the standard that I wanted, so I thought the assessment went well and was successful.
